If you are visiting my website right now it is probably to check for new additions
or to download some of my tools and resources you have heard me share
in a presentation, workshop, or at your school or district.
There is always a possibility that what you are looking may
OR may NOT be found here.
If you do not find what you were looking for please
CONTACT ME directly...
and I can most likely send it to you.
If you DO NOT hear back from me soon...
.RE-CHECK with me again...it could be that I am traveling!!
It is impossible to put all of my things online of course....and there are also many
materials that I do reserve for those numerous schools  and districts that I am privileged
to be able to work with directly in their classrooms.

Having those opportunities to confer with
teachers & students in "real world" classrooms allows me to stay "real"
and to keep my literacy tools and resources current and meaningfully useful!
My website is NOT fancy or "high tech" but it is "FREE" and "Real-World"...
It is hopefully a great site for all of my fellow teacher geeks!!!
I LOVE HEARING from you!! Please give me feedback when you can.

For those of you who have not heard about
READING
WONDERS.... Just a quick little "endorsement"...
An exciting reading program.....now available from McGraw Hill Education!! This program is NOT a "remodeled
basal program" with new CCSS stickers stuck on the covers...BUT rather a valuable integrated high quality
program "built
ON the CCSS" containing high quality texts that are
short reads meant for CLOSE READING and giving teachers and students opportunities
to learn "HOW" to ACT: Access Complex Text!!

As a consulting author on the program, I can proudly tell you that you will LOVE the way it provides the literature
and informational text resources and support that teachers need with both multiple and varied authentic short
reads for appropriate and strategic
CLOSE READING instruction as the KEY to unlock students' abilities to
sustain comprehension in appropriately
COMPLEX extended authentic texts also provided. Also specifically
designed to meet the needs of ELL students in our classrooms with the new standards! It is truly the resource
that teachers need to successfully implement CCSS...NOT a basal...
A RESOURCE...with the latest and the greatest!!
